To Our Dear Friends of NutriBloc,
Since completing our MBAs at Imperial College Business School in September 2017, Founders Yvette and Suresh have been working hard to build a strong foundation for NutriBloc. We continue to be extremely grateful for your support and feedback along the way. Entrepreneurship is challenging and rewarding, and we want to share our journey and recent accomplishments with you, our early supporters.
NutriBloc Thinking Ahead:
At NutriBloc, we are building a stylish and beautiful e-commerce brand that communicates a holistic view of a healthy, active, and balanced lifestyle alongside our values of sustainability.
We are passionate about sustainability and strive to create products that help people join the undeniable movement to a more plant-based diet. Our first product, currently under development, is an all-natural, great-tasting, compact block of plant-based protein that dissolves in any liquid to create a tasty and satisfying new drink. We are currently positioned to target an under-served market of health-conscious, educated, busy, and ‘plant-based curious’ women. Let’s see how that adapts once we start sampling with potential consumers!
Key Accomplishments:
Imperial Business Pitch Competition Finalists – We had a fantastic experience working with Imperial’s Enterprise Lab that resulted in six weeks of incubation, mentoring, guidance, and connections that have been invaluable.
Tier 1 Graduate Entrepreneur Visa Endorsement from Imperial College - Yvette and Suresh achieved a major milestone by winning the visa endorsement after competing amongst a talented pool of entrepreneurial Imperial candidates. This allowed us to officially establish NutriBloc here in the UK.
Company Incorporation – Following on from the Tier 1 Graduate Entrepreneur Visa endorsement, NUTRIBLOC LTD. was officially incorporated in the UK on January 17, 2018.
Commenced Product Development – Product Development is underway! We have a genius food scientist giving it a go, with the Intellectual Property protection in place.
Coming Soon:
Prototypes and Sampling!! – We can’t wait to use customer feedback to iterate our way to a better NutriBloc product!
Brand Development – Stunning visuals and strategy from a great agency.
We are thankful to Imperial College for supporting our vision of creating a sustainable UK business and the global need to transition to a more plant-based diet.
